Aprilia RX 50 - 2011 Specifications and Reviews
About the Aprilia RX 50
Powered by a Euro 2 compliant liquid cooled 49.9cc single cylinder two stroke engine, producing about 6 bhp. RRP the RX50 was introduced in 2006.
The engine itself weighs just 15kg and by just including a kick start Aprilia shaved even more off.
The Aprilia SX50 is essentially the same bike but with 17" wheels, road going tyres, a larger 300mm front disc and a 50mm lower seat. Both bikes can be limited for 16 year olds or derestricted to unlock the 50mph top speed.
The wire-spoked 21" front wheel takes a 90/90 tyre and the rear 18" a 110/80.
