About the BMW C Evolution

Powered by a liquid-cooled permanent magnet motor, which is fuelled by a 3 cell air-cooled battery. With a top speed electronically limited to 75mph.

When charged through a domestic power supply, full charge takes 3-4 hours although 75% charge is reached in under an hour. 

The battery is uses three lithium-ion cells from the BMW i3 car.  The bike frame acts as the battery casing and is where a lot of the weight lies so it is nice and low down. 

A large colour TFT display screen shows you speed, power consumption, battery status and range considering the currently selected ride mode.

Storage is not as good as the C650 Sport or GT, mostly due to the space taken up by the batteries, but it can still fit a full face helmet. This said, it is a well equipped scooter and has two glove boxes like the other C Series models. 

Optional extras include an 800mm comfort seat, alarm and heated grips.

Timeline:

2017: New model with uprated batteries from the new i3, increasing the range from approx. 60 miles to approx. 75 miles. There is also new colour scheme as well, blending silvery blue with the original lime green.
